163 days after surgery

Day 1: before start of LLLT

Months 1: after start of LLLT

I want to show you why I became so enthusiastic about low-level laser therapy (LLLT). Like many, I had seen dozens of before-and-after photos online—images showing dramatic improvements in skin conditions, diabetic ulcers, and post-surgical healing. Some were impressive. But let’s be honest: pictures can be misleading. They can be staged, edited, or simply not representative.

What convinced me wasn’t a photo—it was my own experience.

The first image I took shows my chest 163 days after surgery. Even that far out, the skin surrounding the scar was still peeling. The scar itself was red, raised, and clearly visible. At both the top and bottom of the incision, keloid formations had developed—thickened, fibrous tissue that often resists conventional healing.

And here’s the key:

I didn’t use any creams. No oils. No topical treatments.

Only low-level laser therapy.

I used two devices: the SL500 Infra and the SL Beauty Pro. Each day, I treated the area for five minutes per spot, covering eight spots along the length of the scar—a total of 40 minutes per session.

Then came the second photo—taken one month after starting treatment.

The difference was striking. The scar in the middle had almost completely faded. The entire line had paled significantly. The keloid tissue at both ends had begun to shrink and soften, losing its intense dark red color. The transformation wasn’t just visible—it was tangible.

This wasn’t magic. It was cellular stimulation.

And it was real.
